This piece forms part of Earth Connections, a joint exhibition held on Gubbi Gubbi Country on the Sunshine Coast, where my paintings and ceramics were shown alongside the elemental clay work of Gillian Smith.

Developed between time spent painting outdoors and quieter refinement in the studio, these works move beyond simple depictions of landscape alone. They explore the energetic presence of place - the subtle coherence, movement, peace and sense of wholeness that arises when I work in close relationship with the living world.

Each piece carries the imprint of that exchange.
