Stylistically-speaking, Lara-Jane's songwriting is a beautiful hot mess of indie-folky-rootsy-country-ness, and just a little bit new-age too.

All talk of genres aside, her passion is bringing forth music that is from the heart and for the heart.

For Lara-Jane, playing instruments and performing for people has been a part of her life for as far back as she can remember. She began learning the piano at five, the flute at seven, and began formal classical singing training in high school.
It was around the age of 14 though, once she picked up the guitar, that something began to happen on another level and her journey as a singer/songwriter began.
