The energy of this piece feels like pure joy to me. It is as if every single bloom is just resonating with the frequency of joy, delight and the celebration of life.
 
The colours feel like they are beaming off the page, and placed in different lighting you will see the purple watercolour shimmer where iridescent purple has been placed over the opaque purple beneath. 
 
The red flowers are painted with a handmade watercolour called "Flame", which granulates and separates to a vibrant pink-to-orange red and is exquisitely vibrant also. So if you become the owner of this piece, do make sure you take the chance to hold it in the light on different angles before you pop it in a frame and enjoy the magic of where the purple lights up and shimmers to an almost blue-toned purple.
 
Both these colours are quite unique as they are handmade by a local Australian watercolour artisan in Northern NSW (Ruco Paints), who's immense passion is designing paints that light up her colour-loving spirit and that you will never find anywhere else in the world, as she curates and mixes them herself by hand in small batches.
 
This artwork also delights the senses with its soft, delicate little hand drawings of petals and all variety of tiny white flowers tucked into the dense bouquet of richly pigmented cottage blooms.
 
To me, this bouquet is almost like looking through a window or portal into a field of happy wild flowers on a sunny day and makes me feel how I feel when I think of the song and the imagery of "Morning Has Broken".
